A pontoon boat is a flat-bottomed boat with pontoons (large tubes) on either side, providing buoyancy and stability. They are popular for leisurely cruising, fishing, and entertaining.
Bring a valid ID, the payment method you used for the reservation, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and any food or beverages you'd like for your trip. Don't forget your swimsuit and towels if you plan to swim.
Reservations can be made online through our website or by calling our reservation hotline. Please provide the required information, including the date and duration of your rental.
Policies vary, but generally, there's a cancellation period. Check the terms and conditions at the time of booking. Modifications may be possible based on availability.
All Blue Planet Escape boat rentals purchases are final and nonrefundable, except for severe weather conditions. In case of severe weather conditions your deposit can be refunded or your reservation may be rescheduled. Blue Planet Escape reserve the right to cancel all reservations with or without notice due to bad weather (hurricane, rain, wind) or mechanical issues. Changes to your reservation may be permitted no later than 7 days before the date of the rental.
Blue Planet Escape is a rain or shine activity and we won’t let some light rain stop the fun. We recommend checking the local weather report in advance of your reservation and dressing appropriately. The safety of our customers and staff comes first and in the case of thunderstorms, heavy rain, strong winds or other adverse weather conditions that would pose a risk, we reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, cancel or alter elements of the activity. We keep a close eye on the weather ahead of our events and will communicate any changes as soon as we can to reservation holders via email or SMS. Your safety is our priority. In the event of severe weather, we may need to reschedule or cancel your reservation. We'll keep you informed of any changes.
Some of our pontoons equipped with rain protection shutters. We can upgrade your booking without extra fee.
To drive a boat yourself you need to be at least 25 years old, have a valid Driver's License and sufficient boating experience.
If born ON or AFTER January 1st, 1988 you must also have a valid Florida Boaters Safety ID Card.

We provide a brief orientation to ensure you're comfortable operating the pontoon.
Pontoon sizes vary, but most can accommodate 8-14 people. The exact capacity will be specified during the booking process.
Fuel is typically included in Pontoon Rental. On Boat Rental fuel is not included. You'll receive the boat with a full tank, and upon return, you are responsible for refueling to the same level. Fueling stations are conveniently located near our rental facility
Customer must be present at the dock at least 15 minutes before a scheduled trip, to allow enough time to complete necessary paperwork required for all boat rentals.
Please be aware that the time will start at the scheduled time reserved.
For example: if customer reserves a boat for 12am - 4 pm, the time will start at 12 am. The boat should be back at 4 pm.
If customer brings it back more than 15 minutes late, customer will be fined $100.
We will not provide any refund if the boat is returned earlier.
You should stay in Intracoastal canals at all times. You can go North all the way up to Fort Lauderdale and South up to Brickell Key Downtown Miami. No Port of Miami access. Elliot Key and Nixon Sandbar (Key Biscayne) are as well out of the approved zone for our boat rental.

NO, the boat cannot be taken out on the ocean under any circumstances. Intracoastal only.
For all boat, life jackets are provided and required by USCG to be on board. Kids 12 and younger must wear a life jacket at all times.
Our boats are equipped with marine GPS with charts. We also recommend downloading a Free Navionics Boating App on your Smartphone for instant access to your location, routes and depth, as well as Know Wake App to acquire local speed limit zones.
Only service animals can be present on boats. Emotional support animals are not allowed. Please be respectful of our policy.

Yes, you can bring as much food and drinks as you wish. We provide a free cooler to store your beverages and snacks (please bring your own ice). If you bring alcoholic drinks, you must use plastic cups and the designated driver is prohibited from drinking.
Drunk behavior will not be tolerated and no drugs of any kind are allowed on board!
Keep in mind: Alcohol is even more hazardous on the water than on land. The marine environment motion, vibration, engine noise, sun, wind and spray accelerate a drinker's impairment.
NO. No open fire is allowed on board. No cigarettes, hookah, grills etc. Electronic cigarettes are fine. You can smoke at the Haulover Sandbar or on the islands. We will impose $350 fine for violating this rule.
Fishing is often allowed, but check local regulations and the specific policies of our company. Make sure to bring your own fishing gear.
Extensions are subject to availability. Contact us by phone to inquire about extending your rental while you're still on the water.
Return the pontoon or boat at the agreed-upon time and location. Ensure it's clean, and refuel if required (on boats).
Our staff will conduct a brief inspection.
Yes! We highly encourage you to take care of the boat during the rental as if it is your own. Please return the boat in the same condition as you got it – gather all garbage in the garbage can and in case of any big mess, please clean it up! Otherwise, we will have no choice but to impose a $100 cleaning fee. Thank you for your courtesy!
You are responsible for any damages to the pontoon. Please report any accidents or damages immediately. Insurance options may be available.
$1000 damage deposit is required for each reservation without a captain. Upon both the dropping off and return, the boat will get inspected for damage. In case any damage occurs, the deposit will be applied toward the cost of the repairs.
If the cost of damages exceeds the damage deposit, the renter is fully liable for the remainder of the costs.
If the boat is returned without any damages, the deposit is fully refunded. The most common damages in Miami area are propeller related, caused by operating in shallow waters. Following all instructions, operating carefully and maintaining safe distances as well as water depths will ensure a successful rental with no incidents.
Restroom facilities vary by pontoon model. Some pontoons have built-in restrooms, while others may not. Check the specifications at the time of booking.
YES. We can provide you a USCG approved Captain. FEE is $45 / hours (on Pontoon)
The rates do not include 7% Florida sales tax and gas. Gasoline surcharge is $15 per hour.
